Common Pregnancy or Infertility Issues in men and women

This is the condition that affects the reproductive system. This condition inhibits the conception of children. Infertility is the term that is used for couples who are trying for conception for one year. This can also be referred to a woman who cannot complete the pregnancy to the full term. Infertility is caused by many biological reasons some of which can be treated by medicine.
There are two types of fertility. The first one is the primary infertility. Couples with this type of infertility have never been able to conceive. The second type is the secondary infertility. Couples with this type of infertility have already conceived. After conception the pregnancy may have been carried to full term or suffered from a miscarriage. This can be overcome by a change of partners.

Women tend to less get less fertile as they age. Some of the causes of infertility are genetic, thyroid disorders, adrenal diseases, toxins and chemicals such as glue and hypothalamic pituitary reasons. Some of the specific infertility issues in women are age related factors, previous tubal ligation, uterine issues, ovulation factors, tubal blockage and endometriosis. The reason for male infertility is low quality of sperm. . About 20% of the infertility issues in couple is because of unexplained reasons. This means that the reason is not detected by the current methods available. In certain cases the couple is infertile.

It is widely believed that infertility is related to the female partner. Statistics show that one third of the infertility issues are because of women, one third because of men and one third because of unexplained reasons. It is advised medical tests should be initiated by women of less than 35 years of age after trying to conceive unsuccessfully for twelve months. Medical tests should be initiated after six months for a woman of age greater than 35 years after trying to conceive unsuccessfully for six months. This is because age us of essence.
There are many treatments for treating infertility. There are fertility medications, conception cap, in vitro fertilization, assisted reproductive technology, embryo transfer and tuboplasty.
